…Decidí ir a visitar a mis amigos del showroom del Ego. Mientras hablaba con las diseñadoras de Musumusu, un chico me preguntó si me importaba que me hicieran una foto para El Mundo. Así es como conocí a los diseñadores Martin J. Aproveché para mirar la ropa y hacerles una foto con Carolin Cora Kholer, otra diseñadora que exponía también en el showroom, con la que compartimos pasarela hace dos ediciones del Ego. “En el showroom de EL EGO, donde se puede comprar la ropa de los disenadores emergentes seleccionados como Carolin Kohler, Natalia Pérez, Pedro García o Ignacio San Martin. Pero de ahi al optimismo hay un techo. El mismo que separa una colección para la pasarela de producir y comerzializar. La mayoria de los participantes fabrican unas pocas prendas en pequenos talleres para distribuirlas de forma muy escogida, trabajan por encargo o venden en Internet. Todo esto se financia con escasas subvenciones, premios y en la mayoria de ocasiones pluriempleándose.”
